Candle Safety and Care

First Burn : Vessel Candles Only

For best results, allow your candle to burn for at least 2 hours on the first use so the wax can reach a full melt pool to the edges of the container. This helps prevent tunneling and extends the life of your candle.

General Candle Safety

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Always burn on a heat resistant surface, away from flammable materials.
• Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each use.
• Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris.
• Keep away from drafts and vents.
• Container may become hot during use. Handle with care.

Wax Melt Safety

• Use only in approved electric or tea light warmers.
• Never leave a wax warmer unattended.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not add water or fragrance oils to wax melts.
• Discontinue use if the warmer dish is cracked or damaged.

Pillar Candle Safety

• Always burn pillar candles on a protective heat resistant plate or holder.
• Do not allow the flame to come in contact with the side of the candle.
• Keep the wax pool free of debris.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
